Now in its 27th year, the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW) Awards for Excellence are the most prestigious and respected industry awards in the state. The annual gala, held at The Star Grand Hotel last night, recognises the agencies and individuals setting the benchmark for innovation and professionalism within the industry. Adrian William are honoured to have been named the 2024 winner of the Residential Sales Team award—a crowning achievement in an already remarkable year.
Time flies when you’re doing what you love. From our first few months in the game to becoming one of the most trusted and active agencies in Sydney’s inner west and inner city, it’s been an incredible journey so far. Founded during the height of the pandemic, a team of five agents and administration staff working from trestle tables in a small office above a shoe shop have transformed into a team of 42, with the largest residential sales team in the region. Having recently renovated the heritage-listed Commonwealth Bank building in Newtown, we've come a fair way from our humble beginnings. This award is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and tenacity of our agents, sales associates, and admin support team, who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
During the 2023-2024 financial year, our sales team traded 394 properties across the inner west and inner city – a massive 55% year-on-year increase. We also hit the milestone of 1,000 homes traded since first opening our doors in July 2020 and maintained our competitive rank as the #1 agency for sales and new listings in our marketplace, according to Domain data. Having accrued more than 1,000 5-star reviews and more than $1.4 billion in sold property value by the end of FY24, it's been a phenomenal year for the Adrian William team. On top of this, four of our agents have been ranked as the #1 sales agent in their respective suburbs: Joseph Ferreira in Hurlstone Park, Joseph Lombardo in Lewisham, Namir Mikha in Petersham, and Kate Ferrante in St Peters. We're honoured to have their hard work, along with the hard work of the entire sales team, recognised by the REINSW.
This award reflects not only our sales team’s perseverance and commitment to excellence but also the trust our clients have placed in us.
