This week is set to be Sydney’s second busiest auction week of the year to date, according to CoreLogic, with 1,061 auctions on the cards, up 21.7% on last week and 4.3% higher than this time last year.
Open home activity has also ramped up, with a 15.8% increase in the number of attendees coming through Adrian William opens over the past 7 days compared to the previous week. This reflects the strength and resilience of the Sydney property market, as increased buyer activity absorbs new listings and property value continues its steady rise.
One of last week's standout sales was 255 Livingstone Road Marrickville, a beautifully renovated Federation-era home with impressive indoor-outdoor flow. The charming home attracted 7 registered bidders on Saturday, with 3 pushing right to the end, where it sold under the hammer for $2,255,000.
48 Juliett Street Enmore was another stellar sale and was snapped up for $2,317,000 prior to auction. Set on a 271.9 sqm block, the double-fronted Federation-era home offers the quintessential Inner West lifestyle with a convenient position just off Enmore Road.
The epitome of urban living, the spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment at 108/32 Alice Street Newtown also sold prior to auction. Set in an architecturally designed complex, the home’s chic interiors and 3 leafy balconies fetched $1,445,000.
The Adrian William team are gearing up for a busy couple of months ahead of the summer season when market activity typically cools off, with 38 open homes and 8 auctions on the books for this week.
