Record-Breaking Month for Adrian William

Share

May marked a record month for the Adrian William team, with the highest volume of sales achieved in a single month since first opening our doors in July of 2020. With the colder weather rolling in, the team bucked the market trend and traded 40 properties across 22 inner-west and inner-city suburbs. Maintaining a competitive rank as the number 1 rated agency out of 360 in our marketplace according to Domain, our sales team are confidently carving out a trend that doesn’t show signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Adrian William agents met with more than 2,418 qualified buyers across 302 inspections last month, and many of them are still eager to secure a property before the end of this financial year. First-home-buyers, downsizers and developers were all in the mix, and 3-bedroom houses experienced the highest volume of inspection attendees, with 554 groups inspecting 38 open homes in May.

Standing out among last month’s sales was 7 Charles Street Forest Lodge – an immaculately renovated free-standing c1890’s home that sold under the hammer for $2,480,000. With Japanese wabi-sabi influences, the home boasts extraordinary craftsmanship and stylish finishes throughout, mixing architect-designed aesthetics and modern convenience seamlessly. The home has a wonderful feeling of quiet and privacy while also feeling open and airy, and it welcomed 88 groups through its doors before being snapped up by the lucky new owners; a high volume of interest relative to the premium market. Tucked between Glebe and Annandale, Forest Lodge has become one of the most sought-after areas in the inner west for its location and lifestyle opportunities.

Another top listing, the beautifully renovated family haven of 68 Melford St Hurlstone Park, sold to a young couple for $2,590,000. Offering spacious outdoor living, stunning contemporary features throughout and ample storage, its family appeal attracted 85 buyers over the course of the campaign. Nestled on a quiet street surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, the property offers a more laid-back lifestyle than similarly priced inner city options. The chic Caesarstone kitchen flowing to the alfresco dining area with a built-in BBQ is the cherry on top of this impressive family retreat.

As charming as they come, 60 Railway Street Petersham traded for a cool $2,010,000. The double-fronted Victorian terrace on one of Petersham's most picturesque streets has been carefully updated while retaining key original features. Boasting a luxurious bathroom, three generous bedrooms, and a beautifully landscaped garden, the family-friendly property offers the quintessential inner west lifestyle. Central to Petersham Park, dining hotspots, and esteemed schools, the location is just as much of a drawcard as the beautiful features.

With this record-breaking month behind us, the Adrian William team is gearing up for a strong winter market. Twelve new properties are set to hit the market this week alone, and we’re excited to continue defying market trends across the inner city and inner west.
